Can RHS property also be called SAS AS IT WILL BE CORRECT LOGICALLY?

Yeah , in this case, both RHS congruency and SAS congruency are applicable .

In the given figure ;

BD and CE are the altitudes of ∆ ABC such that BD = CE .

We get :

For RHS congruency :

In ∆ BEC and ∆ BDC :

> BC = BC [ The hypotenuse is equal ]

Angle BEC = Angle BDC = 90° ( Right angles )

BD = CE ( Common sides )

Hence , ∆ BEC ≈ ∆ BDC by RHS congruency.

For SAS congruency :

In ∆ BEC and ∆ BDC :

> BC = BC [ common side ]

Angle BEC = Angle BDC = 90° ( Equal angles )

BD = CE ( Sides are equal )

Hence , ∆ BEC ≈ ∆ BDC by SAS congruency.
