No, the robots cannot understand student’s emotions as emotions are created due to release of some kind of chemicals by pituitary glands which are missing in robots. The robots can’t understand the feeling produced in the minds of the students. So they can’t be replaced by human teachers.

The robots can teach them as they will be programmed by humans, they will work as portable encyclopedia and they can do the clerical jobs fastly including the paper checking or administrative jobs.

So, the robots can do the clerical jobs and teaching jobs quickly with more knowledge depending upon the programmer for the robot but they can’t understand student’s emotion which is negative points for robots. As the robots lack the quality of understanding the emotions, human teachers are preferable in schools over robots.
