can social media be regarded as a necessary evil?

social media is a boon as well as it is an evil....the person who uses it for good purpose will get benefit from it...and the person who uses it for bad purpose will be regarded as evil deed...social media was made for us...for our benefit so that we will be able to get any information easily..but people use it in such a way that i has become an evil in today's world...due to the misuse of some people social media is not regarded as good by many people...people restrict their children or most of their family members from surfing on net because it has become worst day by day...u search for something and something else appears..and this diverts the mind of the people...it has become an evil..but it can't be said that it has become totally bad...if u use it for good purpose then it is good but if u use it for bad purpose then the consequences are vice versa..
