(can some one check the answer)
3(2x + 1) + 2(x – 1) = 23
6x+3+2(x+1) =23
6x+3+2x+2=23
8x+3+2=23
8x+5=23
8x=23-5
8x=18
X=18/8 Reduce the fraction 81/8=2.25 to lowest terms by extracting and canceling out 2.
