1st step

leave the (x-1) (x-2) alone

x^2-9x+14== x^2-2x-7x+14==(x-7)(x-2)

so the first line is in the form of::(x-1) (x-2) (x-2) (x-7) so the (x-2) (x-2) will become (x-2)^2 == x^2+4-4x

and the final line is (x-1) (x^2+4-4x) (x-7)

in the denominator (x^2-3x+2) is in the form of (x-1) (x-2) and from the numerator (x-1) and (x-7) will cancelled

so the rest is (x^2-3x+2) / (x^2+4-4x) ...
