Can somebody solve the question no. 1 in detail. my answer is coming 40s but in the book it is said the answer is 1 minute, i.e. 60s

total dist.=distance of train + dist. of bridge
=200 + 400
=600m
speed = 36km/h = 10m/s
time = distance/speed
=600m/10m/s
=60s or 1min
