first part of a+b

2x/1+1/2= 4x+1/2 eq1

second part of a+b

x/1-1/2=2x-1/2 eq2

from eq 1 and 2

6x/2 eq 3

from first part and second part of a-b

4x+1/2 -2x -1/2

=2x-2/2 eq 4

now from eq 3 and 4

6x/2×2x-2/2=12x2-12x/4

12x2-12x=4

or, 12x2-12x-4=0

4(3x2-3x-1)=0
