Step-by-step explanation:

points: (2,0) a d (-3,10)

Slope: (y2 - y1) ÷ ( x2 - x1)

= (10 - 0) ÷ ( -3 - 2)

M = -2

Now

we know the slope now we will solve for y intercept

well we will put slope value in the general equation

y= mx + b

where

m = slope

b = y intercept

and x, y = coordinates

y = -2x + b

b = y +2x

Now we can put coordinates of any point

well we put ( 2, 0) where x = 2 and y = 0

b = 0 + 2(2)

b = 4

If we put coordinates of another points which is (-3,10)

b = 10 +2(-3)

b = 10-6

b = 4

Same result

Well

we now we know that

slope = - 2

y intercept = 4

and equation is: y = -2x+4
