  • In this question they said that to prove its rational number and chance this decimal to a fraction.

  • since, the rational number can't be simplify when its a decimal. (ex: 6/2 = 3/1 in this you can see this fraction can be simplified so this 6/2 is not a rational number)

  • q 0 says that the denominator is not equal to zero (ex: 3/0 ,12/0 which can't be done)

Solution explanation:

  • For this you should know how to convert decimal into fraction.

The given the number 3.142678

\sf{3.\boxed{1}\boxed{4}\boxed{2}\boxed{6}\boxed{7}\boxed{8}}

  • so in this number before the decimal point you can see 6 number which is in 6 boxes.

  • now you want to put the given number without the decimal point as numerator and the 1 with the 6 boxes as 0.

  • so that you can get like this :

\implies\dfrac{3142678}{1\boxed{0}\boxed{0}\boxed{0}\boxed{0}\boxed{0}\boxed{0}}

And this fraction cant be no more simplified so this is known as rational number
