Can someone explain the law of floatation with the formulae?!!​

When a body floats in a fluid then the weight of the body acting vertically downward is equal to the weigh o fluid displaced by the immersed  part of the body acting vertically upward.

By the law of Floatation:

weight of solid = weight of fluid displaced
