1.it is false because in its 2nd term there is a variable whose power is 1/2 ,which is not a whole number. As it doesn't complete the definition of polynomial so it is not a polynomial.

2.In question no. 2 when we solve or simplify the expression we get the answer as 6 + x. which is simply a whole number.
