Sun looks white at noon but because it has to travel less distance to reach us . During this journey only a little of blue colour is scattered . Since the light coming from

the overhead sun has almost all its component colours in the right proportion , the sun appears white during noon

Sun looks red at sunset because when sun is near the horizon sunlight has to travel great distance to reach us. During this journey most of the shorter wavelength blue colour is scattered away. Therefore sun consists only longer wavelength red colour. This the reason for the sun appearing red during sunset

Hope this helps you dear !

Wishing you success
