Can someone give me extra questions of maths....
Chapters: constructions,statistics,linear equation in 2 variable,surface area and volume.....if someone has..... plz give me...:-)

                                         Chapter 1 : Constructions

Q1 : Construct the following angles : i) 60° ii) 30° iii) 90°

Q2
: Construct Δ ABC in which BC = 3.6 cm, AB + AC = 4.8 cm & ∠B = 60°.

Q3
: Construct a triangle whose perimeter is 6.4 cm and angles at the base are 60° & 45°.

Q4
: Construct Δ PQR whose perimeter is equal to 14 cm, ∠P = 45° and ∠Q = 60°.

Q5 : Bisect a line segment of length 6.6 cm & measure the length of each part.

                                                   Chapter 2 : Statistics

Q1 : Find the mean of the following marks of 20 students :
76, 44, 45, 87, 71, 72, 82, 83, 41, 32, 75, 32, 46, 78, 17, 70, 84, 12, 77, 74

Q2 : The mean of 10, 12, 16, 20, p, & 26 is 17. Find p.

Q3 : Give the geometrical representation of 3 x + 7 = 0 as an equation in a) 1 Variable b) 2 Variables

Q4 : Draw the following : a)  x = 1 b) y = -1

Q5 : If the point (3,4) lies on the graph of the equation 3y = a x + 7, find a.

                        Chapter 4 : Areas of Parallelograms & Triangles

Q1
: Show that the diagonals of a parallelogram divide it into 4 congruent triangles.

Q2 : Show that a Median of a triangle divides it into 2 congruent triangles.

Q3 : In Δ ABC, E is the mid-point of Median AD. S.T ar (BED) =  \frac{1}{4} ar (ABC).

Q4 : D, E & F are respectively the mid-points of the sides BC, CA & AB of Δ ABC. Show that :
a) BDEF is a parallelogram.
b) ar (DEF) =  \frac{1}{4} ar (ABC)
c) ar (BDEF) =  \frac{1}{2} ar (ABC)

Q5 : ABCD is a parallelogram, AE⊥DC & CF⊥ AD. If AB = 16cm, AE = 8cm, CF = 10cm, find AD.

                                               Chapter 5 : Probability

Q1 : A die is rolled 25 times and the outcomes are recorded as follows :
Outcomes : 1    2    3    4    5    6
Frequency : 9   4    4    7    1    0

Find the probability of getting a) an even no. b) an odd no. c) a prime no. d) a multiple of 3.

Q2 : 135 students like statistics & 65 dislikes statistics.
Find the probability that a student chosen at random a) likes b) dislikes.

Q3 : 1000 families with 2 children was selected & the following data was collected :

 If a family is chosen in random, find the probability that it has a) 1 girl b) no girl.

Q4 : What is the probability of getting 7 while rolling a die?

Q5 : Out of 50 students, 25 students passed an exam. If a student is chosen at random, what is the probability that he/she failed in the exam?

                               Chapter 6 : Surface Areas & Volumes

Q1
: The C.S.A of a right circular cylinder of height 14cm is 88cm². Find the diameter of the base of the cylinder.

Q2 : A cylindrical pillar is 50 cm in diameter and 3.5m in height. Find the cost of white washing the C.S.A of the pillar at the rate of Rs.12.50/m².

Q3 : How many litres of milk can a hemispherical bowl of diameter 10.5 cm hold?

Q4 : The hollow sphere, in which the circus motorcyclist performs his stunts, has a radius of 3.5m. Find the area available to the motorcyclist for performing.

Q5 : A hemispherical bowl is made of steel, 0.25cm thick. The inner radius of bowl is 5cm. Find the outer C.S.A.

                                                 Chapter 7 : Circles

Q1 : The radius of a circle is 13cm & the length of one of its chords is 10cm. Find the distance of the chord from the centre.

Q2 : Find the length of a chord which is at a distance of 5cm from the centre of a circle of radius 13cm.

Q3 : Two circles of radii 5cm & 3cm intersect at 2 points and the distance between their centres is 4cm. Find the length of the common chord.

Q4 : The opposite angles of a cyclic quadrilateral are in the ratio 4:5. Find these angles.

Q5 : Prove that the opposite angles of a cyclic quadrilateral are supplementry.
