Answer:

equation given = 3x^2 + 2x - 4

a) x = -2

  3(-2)^2 + 2(-2) - 4

  12 - 4 -4

   12 - 8

  = 4

b) x = -1

   3(-1)^2 + 2(-1) - 4

   3 - 2 - 4

   3 - 6

  = -3

c) x = 2

  3(2)^2 + 2(2) - 4

  12 + 4 -4

   12 + 0

  = 12

c) x = 3

  3(3)^2 + 2(3) - 4

  27 + 6 -4

   12 + 2

  = 14

hope this helps

Step-by-step explanation:

if x=-2

then a=

3*(-2^2)+2*-2-4

12-4-4

ans a=4

and if x=-1 then b is

3*(-1^2)+2*-1-4

3-2-4

-3 is b

if x is 2 then c is

3*2^2+2*2-4

12+4-4

and c is 12

if x is 3 then d is

3*3^2+2*3-4

27+6-4

so d is 29

hope this helps you
