Answer:

by hypothesis therom

x {}^{2}  + 12 {}^{2}  = 16 {}^{2}

x {}^{2}  = 16 {}^{2}   - 12 {}^{2}

x {}^{2}  = 256 - 144

Given:-

  • Triangle is Right Angled.
  • Hypothenuse = 16.
  • Sides are 12 & x.

To Find:-

  • Value of x.

Solution:-

WKT

\boxed{\sf{\star\;(Hypothenuse)² = (Side)²+(Side)²}}

→\;{\sf{(16)² = (12)²+x²}}

→\;{\sf{256 - 144 = x²}}

→\;{\sf{\sqrt{112} = x}}

→\;{\sf{x = 4\sqrt{7}}}

  • Value of x is \red{\bf{4\sqrt{7}\;units}}
