The cost of one pen is 15 rs
The total no. of pen he can purhase = 16
total money he spend on pens = 15 ×16 = 240
if the cost of pen is inctesed then
cost of 1 pen = 15 + 9 =24 rs
now let the pens be x that he can buy
according to the question
he can spend 240 rs on pen so ,
240 = 24 × x
240/24 = x
x = 10
no. of pens is 10
