Can someone learn my doubt:-
In the chapter Chemical Reactions and Equations of Class 10, my science teacher explained me about the reaction between copper sulphate solution and iron nails. She said that iron is more reactive than copper, so it displaces copper from its salt solution. She said that if the opposite happens then no reaction will take place. How?

Did you pay attention to that sentence "Iron is more reactive than copper, so it displaces copper from its sulfate solution"
Copper is less reactive than Iron. So it can't displace Iron from it's Sulfate solution.
If you see the reactivity series you'll find that iron is placed above copper , this ,means copper is less reactive than iron

Hi friend
the more reactive element displaces a less reactive element
iron is more reactive than copper hence it displaces it from the solution but copper is not more reactive than iron hence it won't displace it...
