(3x-2y=12)....Multiply this equation by 5

=15x-10y=60......eqn1

(4x-5y=16)....Multiply this equation by 2

=8x-10y=32.....eqn2

Using elimination method....

By subtracting eqn2 from eqn 1

15x-10y=60

-(8x)-(-10y)=-(32)

_______________. (10y got cancelled)

7x=28

=>x=4

Using eqn2 we can find y

4x-5y=16

16-5y=16

5y=16-16

5y=0

y=0
