In simple words

1) Law of Segregation

This law states that two or more pair of characters occur in the f1 hybrid then they remain together without mixing with each other and segregates during formation of gametes

2) Law of independent assortment states that the when two of more character occurs then the Inheritance of one character is no way dependent to the other character

Eg Inheritance of the yellow colour is no way dependent on round shape of seed
