Hey there!

=>> According to Newton’s second law of motion, the rate of change of linear momentum is directly proportional to the external force applied on the body, and this change take place in the direction of the applied force.

This means that when a bigger force is applied on a body, its linear momentum changes faster. The momentum is change in the direction of applied force.

Hope it helped!!!!☺️

the change of motion is proportion to the applied force and takes place in the direction of the straight line along which that force acts
example
1 ) hitting a baseball
