in triangle ABD

Angle X=angle ADB (Angle on opposite sides of equal line are equal)

x=42°

x+y+angle ADB=180°(Angle sum property)

y=180-84

y=96°

In triangle DCB

Angle Z=angle DBC (Angle on opposite sides of equal line are equal)

angle DBC +angle Z +angle DCB=180°(Angle sum property)

angle Z+angle Z+angle DCB =180°

2Z +52=180°

2Z=128

Z=64°
