Step-by-step explanation:

1. Given that ∠BOD=90, so the top of the table is

4/3

of a circle of radius 60cm. Perimeter of the table =(

4/3 ×2πr+2r)cm=( 4/3

×2×3.14×60+2×60)cm

=(90×3.14+120)cm=402.6cm.

2. Given

Radius of enclosed four circles =7 cm

Diameter of a circle =14 cm

Length of rectangle =4(14)=56 cm [As four circles cover the length of rectangle ]

Width of rectangle =14 cm [As only one circle covers width of rectangle]

(a) Area of rectangle = Length × Width

=56×14=784 cm2

(b) Area of enclosed circle =πr2

=7/22×7×7

=154 cm2

Area of enclosed four circles =4×156=616 cm2

∴ Area of shaded part =784−616=168 cm2

3. Area of remaining portion = Area of trap - Area of quadrant

= 1/2 x 3.5 (5.5 + 3.5) - 1/4 x 22/7 x3.5x3.5

= 15.75 - 19.25/2 = 15.75 - 9.625

= 6.125 cm2
