Step-by-step explanation:

Here in every value of X and Y there is root in denominator which makes it difficult to solve. So first you have to Rationalise every value of X and Y to make it simple

1. To Rationalise X multiply and divide by

 \sqrt{2}  + 1

To Rationalise Y multiply and divide by

 \sqrt{2}  - 1

Hence In denominator you will get (a+b)(a-b)

Then by using the formulae (a+b)(a-b) =

a {}^{2}  - b {}^{2}

Root can be removed from the denominator.

Similarly You Can Rationalise Every X and Y

Then By putting values of X and Y in the given equation you can answer it.

Hope this Helps You
