let equivalent resistence of the circuit be Rp.

Since, R1,R2,R3 are connected in parallel

Therefore,

1/Rp=1/R1 + 1/R2+ 1/R3

=> 1/Rp=1/4 + 1/2 + 1/1

=> 1/Rp=(1+2)/4 + 1

=> 1/Rp=3/4 + 1

=> 1/Rp=(3+4)/4

=> Rp=4/7 ohm

Therefore, equivalent resistance of the circuit be ( R ) = 4/7 ohm

From Diagram,

Current in the circuit( I )=0.5A

Let terminal voltage be V

We know,

V=IR

= 0.5 * 4/7

=2/7

= 0.285

≈ 0.29 Volt (Ans.)

Potential difference across resistors in parallel is constant

therefore,

Potential difference across resistor 2 ohm (V )=2/7V

Let the current in resistor 2 ohm be i

hence, V=iR

=> i=V/R

= (2/7)/2

=1/7 A

=0.142 A

≈ 0.14 A (Ans.)
