Area of triangle ABC X{V2 - Y,) +x,(Vs-Y) +X,(V1 -Y:)]

Here

X 1, Y1-1

X-4, Y2 = 6

Xg-3, Ys =-5

Putting values

Area of triangle ABC = [ 1(6-(-5))+ (-4)(-5-(-1)) + (-3(-1 -6)

Area of triangle ABC-[16-(-5))+ (-4)(-5-(-1))+ (-3)1-1 -6)]

[116 +5)+ (-4)}(-5+1 ) + (-3)(-7)]

=[1(11)+(-4](-4)+ (-3)(-7)1

[11+16+21]

-[48]

24 square metres
