when any body of any shape and size is placed in A UNIFORM ELECTRIC FIELD the net flux is always ZERO..
because every field line that enters a region will also surely leave it from other side .. so net flux is Zero..

remember the line UNIFORM ELECTRIC FIELD..
if it is non uniform then answer may or may not be zero
