Let the total number of students in the school be x

Given, total number of boys 1023

% of girls = 38%

% of boys = 100 - 38% = 62%

According to the question,

x × \dfrac{38}{100} = 1023

x = 1023 × \dfrac{100}{38}

x = \dfrac{102300}{38}

x = 1650

Total strength of the school => x

=> \tt \bf {1650}

Total number of boys => 1023

Total nunber of girls => 1650 - 1023

=> 627
