Answer is 3)6.75 as the rate is second order for A and first order for B
Therefore rate becomes (1.5)^2*3=6.75.
Hope my answer helps you

The rate equation is
R=k[A]^½[B]²
If concentration of A is increased 4 times then its final concentration is 4A and similarly final concentration of B is 2B.
so putting these values in rate equation we get
R'=k[4A]½[2B]²
or,R'=k x 2[A]^½ x 4[B]²
or,R'=8k[A]^½[B]²
or,R'=8R
so answer is C 8 times

Hope it helps.

london2023: Thnk u so much frnd......your helping attitude is truely incredible.Thnk u so so much for lending me your precious time.
london2023: And thnk u once again my frnd...for answering q.no.2 as well....I was goin gto ask that too...it eased my work tho...thnk u so much.
london2023: But frnd...I have a doubt here..it says that initial conc.is increased by a 'FACTOR' of 4....so why it can't be.....-(A+4)then?
london2023: Sry frnd,but that's not aNnegative sign in front of (A+4)...it's just simply(A+4)
KunalVerma911: If anything is said to be increased by a factor of something then it always implies multiplication.
london2023: Okh...i got it...so it means that if the question said just increased....instead of increased by a factor....then it would 've been addition...i suppose?
