Step-by-step explanation:

4)Firstly;

  • work out your brackets first and since there is a term outside which will be multiplying your bracket(-2(1-k)) ,multiply it by it ending up to get -2 +2k
  • Secondly;
  • perform any necessary calculations involving the grouping of liked terms to get two different terms.
  • Lastly;
  • k the subject of your relation by diving both sides by the coefficient of k and hence do any further division to get your result.

CACULATIONS

● 3-5k+2k=-2-2(1-k)

● 3-5k+2k=-2-2+2k

● 3-3k= 2-2 +2k

● 3-3k= -4+2k

GROUPING LIKED TERMS

● 3+4= 2k+3k

● 7=5k

DIVIDING BOTH SIDES BY 5

●7/5= 5k/5

● K=7/5

INTO SIMPLEST FORM

K= 1 2/5 or K= 0.14
