Can someone plz help me to solve this problem :
If y = 3x^2 + 4x then find out average value of y from x = 1 to x = 3.
The photo is the half solution. Plz explain me how to solve after that.​

Solving numerator

Integration of (3x^2 + 4x) will be x^3 + 2x^2

Putting the limits we get 42

Solving denominator

Integration of dx wil be X

Putting limits 1 and 3 we get 2

Now, 42/3=14 ans
