the square brackets show the bond range of magnesium. you have to make a circle by joining the brackets >↓                ↓

                                                            (F [ ·  ·) Mg (·  ·]  F)

                                                           ↑        ↑   & ↑       ↑   respectively

the circle brackets show the bond range of fluorine .sly , make a circle

by joining the brackets.
