Units are ignored in calculation.

Answer:

625 m.

Explanation:

 Here,

Car comes at rest, which means its final velocity is 0.

Car has a velocity of 90 km/hr, this means initial velocity of the car is 90 km/hr.  90 km/hr = ( 90*5/18 ) m/s = 25 m/s

   Using the equations of motion:

v^2 = u^2 + 2aS   where symbols have their usual meaning.

Here, v = 0 , u = 25 m/s , a = - 0.5

⇒ 0 = 25^2 - 2( 0.5 )S

⇒ 25^2 = ( 1 )S

⇒ 625 = S

   Car will cover a distance of 625 m.

Answer:

[ 90 * 5/18 = 25m/s ]

u = 25m/s

v = 0

a = -0.5m/s^2

s = ?

2as = v^2 - u^2

2.-0.5m/s^2 . s = 0^2 - ( 25 )^2

-1 m/s^2 . s = -625

s = -625 / -1

s = 625m

hope it helps
