The capital city of Madhya Pradesh is Bhopal. It is also the executive headquarters of  Bhopal district and Bhopal division.  

It is also known as the city of lakes. The place posses a humid subtropical climate with cool, parched winters, a blazing hot summer and a humid monsoon season.

Summer starts in the ending days of March and last till mid-June.
