a problem can be solved by unitary method by two ways 1. Direct variation 2. Inverse variation
ex: direct variation when the rate of a some item is expensive then the discount is also more i.e 20% discount for 300 rupees , 50% for 1500 rupees ....here we will take the rupees as A and discount as B . if A is increased B also increases... This is called as Direct variation.
Inverse variation a vehicle travels 60 mph for 1 km ....if the speed of the vehicle is increased then the distance of the reaching point will be decreased.... let's take speed of vehicle as A and distance as B ...if A is increased then B decreases ... This is called as Inverse variation.
