People can vote how fast the speed of light is per second, but light will always be the speed it is no matter what

Not at all the speed of light is a constant in science. It is a creation of nature and cannot be changed by a law of man. Nothing that we are aware of can go faster than this.

  • No object can go more quickly than 300,000 kph (186,000 miles per second). Only massless particles, such as the photons that constitute light, are capable of travelling at that speed. Any material item cannot be accelerated to the speed of light since doing so would require a limitless supply of energy.
  • Light is the ultimate speed, according to Albert Einstein's special theory of relativity, which gave rise to the E=MC2 equation, but neutrinos have now been observed travelling much faster.
  • The speed of light is constant regardless of the method used to measure it. The fundamental discovery that Einstein made in 1905 regarding the nature of light can be summed up in the deceptively straightforward adage: "The speed of light is constant."
  • Every light wave is composed of both electric and magnetic fields, and the impedance, which can be measured, along with the permittivity of space to magnetic fields, determines the speed of light.
  • According to Albert Einstein's special theory of relativity, no object can move faster than the 299,792 km/s speed of light in a vacuum. It seems improbable that mankind will ever be able to launch spacecraft beyond the Milky Way due to this speed restriction.
