can sugar and salt be separated by distillation

No. If Both are dissolved into eachother, unless one is signifigantly larger than the other, then they cannot be seperated.

salt can be separated but the sugar cannot be separated because  the sugar may get charred on heating (meaning it will get gooey and sticky).


Sanramkar: this answer is applicable if the salt and sugar is added seperately.
