Step-by-step explanation:
First, Length of the Rectangle (l) = 11 cm
Breadth of the rectangle (b) = 2 cm
therefore, Area of rectangle = l × b = 11 × 2 = 22 sq.cm
Now,
Diameter of circle = 0.5 cm
therefore, radius will be 0.5/2
Now, area of circle= πr^ 2
= 22/7 × 0.5/2 × 0.5/ 2 = 2. 75/14
Now, total no. of discs can be prepared = area od rectangle/ Area of circle = 22/ 2.75/14 = 22/ 275/ 1400 = 22 × 1400 / 275. ( terms will be reciprocate)
= 56 × 2 = 112 ( by simplification)
Therefore, 112 discs will be prepared
Hope this will help you, Thank you!
