Can't we do it like this
1st take out the area of rectangle then divide it by the area of one disc .please give me answer in this form only ​

First, Length of the Rectangle (l) = 11 cm

Breadth of the rectangle (b) = 2 cm

therefore, Area of rectangle = l × b = 11 × 2 = 22 sq.cm

Now,

Diameter of circle = 0.5 cm

therefore, radius will be 0.5/2

Now, area of circle= πr^ 2

= 22/7 × 0.5/2 × 0.5/ 2 = 2. 75/14

Now, total no. of discs can be prepared = area od rectangle/ Area of circle = 22/ 2.75/14 = 22/ 275/ 1400 = 22 × 1400 / 275. ( terms will be reciprocate)

= 56 × 2 = 112 ( by simplification)

Therefore, 112 discs will be prepared
