Can the average speed of a moving body be zero?give reason

Speed is a scale of quantity and it does not direct your movement.

Speed = distance/time – this is the main theory for measuring the speed.

So ,if the body is stationary with respect to time ,then only average speed will be zero because the distance moved is zero.

In remaining all cases, the average speed will be positive.
