Explanation:

Once the communication channel was deactivated it is very difficult to establish communication manually between the orbiter and the lander as the orbiter itself should be controlled from the ground station.

And we all know that we didn't made any communication after hard landing. The lifespan of lander (Vikram) is 14 days. But another 14 days will be darkness on the area of moon. So we cannot able to re-establish the connection. There are no more chances in establishing communication between lander and ISRO. As we didn't know how the communication failure happened, we can't establish it back.
