Yes when a body moves under gravity it's acceleration remains constant.but at the maximum height the direction is reversed

Answer:

(1) No. The direction of velocity of an object cannot be reversed when it's acceleration is constant.

(2) The reason is, acceleration is a vector and hence it cannot be said to be constant when either the magnitude or direction of the acceleration changes.
