No, not in any case.

ajay2807: The moment you cover dx distance, you have automatically covered dx displacement. Now, for furthur journey, if you alter your path, distance will keep on increasing but displacement may increase or decrease depending upon direction of motion.

never displacement never grater than distance travled but opposite is possible

ck233: displacement is shiortest distance b/w initial positon and final but distance is whole path traveld by the object
