Can the following quadrilateral be a parallelogram ? why or why not (a) AB = DC = 6 cm, AD = 5 cm and BC = 4.5 cm (b) B = 80° and D = 80°

We know that the opposite side of a parallelogram are equal in length. Here one of the pair of sides are equal but the other are not.


According to this question, Geometrically they are equal as Angle B = Angle D = 80° so the opposite sides are equal ie., BC =AD [By theorem] but here they are not equal due to different lengths of the sides given of AD & BC.
