No you cant balance a force in that way.Tobalance the force directed to east, the force directed to north should have a componentdirected to west (opposite to east) and this component should be equal to Y KN. So for the force directed to north; the angle between north and west is 90 degrees.

Hey dear no I can't ...
in order to balance u have to keep it south or west ....
other wise it net force will be in north-east direction
