No the intermixing of two solids cannot turned as diffusion becoz when we mix two solids like salt and sugar it seperate each other....

Particles of solids are held together by strong inter-molecular forces. They do not exhibit free motion but they vibrate along their mean positions.so, intermixing of two solids similar to diffusion cannot take place. ... Therefore, the intermixing of two solids cannot be termed as diffusion.
