 {1.5}^{2}  +  {2}^{2}  = 6.25 \\  {2.5}^{2}  = 6.25 \\ so \:  \:  {1.5}^{2}  +  {2}^{2}  =  {2.5}^{2}  \\ thus \: they \: can \: form \: right \: triangle
Method2:

The smallest ratio of whole numbers which form right triangle is 3:4:5.
Dividing by 2, the ratio becomes, 1.5:2:2.5
