Can the mutation, occured due to ionising radiation, be desirably selective ???
or
Can we control the mutation occuring due to ionising radiation???

Explanation:

Radiation may alter the DNA within any cell. Cell damage and death that result from mutations in somatic cells occur only in the organism in which the mutation occurred and are therefore termed somatic or nonheritable effects.

This means that ionizing radiation can cause mutations in cells that are deep inside of us, not just the cells on the surface of our bodies. These mutations can eventually lead to cancer; ionizing radiation is known to cause leukemia and thyroid cancer, just to name a few.
