Answer:

Upper Paleolithic cultures were probably able to time the migration of game animals such as wild horses and deer. This ability allowed humans to become efficient hunters and to exploit a wide variety of game animals.

Yes, the paleolithic age can be termed as the age of hunters, due to the following reasons.

  • The paleolithic age, which had lasted from 2.6 million years to around 10,000 years ago, consisted the early humans.
  • The early or ancient humans were known as hunter-gatherers. The reason for that was the ways in which they used to achieve food for themselves.
  • The humans, or more appropriately early humans who were present in the paleolithic age mainly used to make tools using stones, by sharpening them. These self-made tools would further be used by them, to kill the animals and use that meat to eat.
  • One of the reasons among various why they used to hunt the animals is said to be them not knowing the process by which they could grow crops.
