Can the salaries of high court judges be altered during their tenure?If so, under what circumstances can it be done?​

The salaries of the Judges of Supreme Court and High Courts is decided by the President of India according to Article 125 and Article 221 of the Constitution of India respectively..The new salary of the Chief Justice of India will now be Rs 2.8 lakh per month, up from the present Rs one lakh. Similarly, judges of the Supreme Court and chief justices of high courts will draw a monthly salary of Rs 2.50 lakh, up from the current Rs 90,000, according to the Act notified by the law ministry.
