Can the stem of a plant be compared with a street with two-way traffic. give reasons.

yes it can be compared.as from both sides different organs of plants grow in many plants.same is in in two way traffic .from both sides there is traffic

I think yes because the stem consists of xylem and phloem and the phloem transports sugar in both the direction that is upward and downward and the xylem transports sap( water + mineral)in upward direction so there is a continuous movement of glucose and sap in the stem so it could be said as a two -way traffic in the stem..........
