Can the strongest acids and bases can damage a diamond ?

no it cannot damage diamond because diamond is very stable in nature but it can destroy with exteremely high temperature at 800 centigrade in the air it turns into carbon dioxide and at 1600 centigrade it gets converted into graphite, it can sublime at 3000 centigrade.
